If you love scents, use the fabric softener in the exact quantities indicated on the bottle.
If you prefer not to use excessive chemicals, you can add a small glass of vinegar, grandmother's natural fabric softener, to the wash water. Woolen items should be hand-washed. If you decide to machine wash them anyway, make sure you select the wool cycle, or a delicate cycle, without spinning, and no higher than 30°C (86°F). It's very important to remove the items from the washing machine as soon as the wash cycle is finished.
Drain the garments horizontally , wrapped in a towel but without wringing. To prevent felting, always avoid soaking the garments in water for long periods.
